The insufficient size, the bad condition of the fabric, and the unhealthy closeness of the present church, combine to make this a work of pressing necessity. It is proposed to build a wooden church on stone foundations, to. hold, when completed, not less than 600 sittings, of which one-third will be free. Ifc has been resolved not to advertise for tenders until the sum of £1000 shall be in hand. The following list represents an amount of £1200 Is, of which the sum of £718 19s 9d has been received. Parishioners and old attendants; at.
