The ship England cleared the Customs eEhs afternoon for London, and will sail toEcorrow morning. The Claud Hamilton was advertised to ?edve Melbourne for New Zealand ports, via 33Tuf£, on Feb. 12, so that she is due to-day. 'JSze-next steamer advertised is the Omeo, on Web. 19, via Bluff; to be followed by the Gothenburg on Feb. 24, via Hokitika. The SSaez mail was due in Melbourne yesterday, BSS* 17, and it is a noticeable fact that the Gteeo was advertised to leave on Feb. 19, iteo days afterwards, and seven days after fJie previous steamer had left for New ZeaitrsS. In every other case, the interval befiween the sailing of the steamers is five days. "Sbere is, for instance, five days between the ITRrarua and Claud Hamilton, and five days 'Between the Omeo and the Gothenburg, but 3even days between the Claud Hamilton and tfee Omeo. It is further noticeable that if tte Omeo had been advertised to sail at the cental five days' interval, the date of her departure from Melbourne would have corresponded with the date of the mail's arrival
