MAIL NOTICES.

Mails for the Australian colonies, Otago, and Southland, will close at 3.45 p.m., to-morrow, Feb. 19. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, via Southampton, will close at Christchurch at 3.15 p.m. on Saturday, the 19th inst. For United Kiugdom,Continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, via Marseilles, at 3.45 p.m. For United Kingdom, via Brindisi, at 4.15 p.m., for specially addressed letters. Money orders at 11.30 a.m. Registered letters at 12 noon. Newspapers till 12 noon. Late letters for all the above places will be received until 4.50 p.m., such late letters must be fully prepaid, and in addition bear in postage stamps one single rate of postage as late fee. Persons posting late letters, should be careful to note that the late fee is a single rate of postage, and varies according to route and destination, viz. : — Via Southampton, late fee 6d. Via Marseilles, late fee lOd. Via Brindisi, late fee Is 3d. Australian colonies, 6d. Otago and Southland. 3d. Mails for Northern Provinces close at 9.15 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19. Mails for Northern Ports of New Zealand will close at 4 p.m. on Saturday, 19th inst. Mails for Otago and Southland- will close at 11.15 a.m. on Monday, 21st inst. A mail for London, per ship England, will be made up at Christchurch, closing at 9.15 a.m. to-morrow (Saturday), Feb. 19. Letters must be specially addressed. ■■ ■ •
