MAIL NOTICE.
Mails for the Northern provinces of New Zealand will close at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday the 12th instant. A mail will be made up for London per ship England, closing at 8 a.m. on Saturday, 12th inst. Letters must be specially addressed. Supplementary mails for Europe will be made up per Tararua on or about the 16th instant. Persons wishing to post letters for Europe and the Australian colonies, may do so until 6 p.m. this evening (Thursday), to be forwarded overland via Hokitika.
