ARRIVAL OF THE BARQUE MYSTERY, FROM LONDON.
This vessel came to anchor opposite the town at 9 o'clock yesterday morning, having arrived at the Heads on Saturday afternoon, after a passage of 109 days from Gravesend. She left that port on the 12th October, 1869, and the Seilly Isles were passed on the 20th ; rounded the Cape of Good Hope in lat. 43 deg. 1 mm. S., on the 1 7th Dec. ; from long. 120 deg, E., and in lat. 47 deg. to 43 deg., strong S.E. gales were experienced ; sighted the Snares on the 25th inst., thence encountered strong head winds ; on the 27th, when off the Otago Light, the foresail and jib carried away ; sighted the ship Hydaspes off the Peninsula sailing free .wiih a fair wind, and came to anchor inside the Heads at 7.30 on Saturday evening ; on Sunday morniug came up to the present anchorage. The registered tonnage of the vessel is 424 tons, but she carries a very large cargo, and is consigned to Messrs Miles and Co. The follow-' ing vessels were spoken during the passage : — Oct. 31, ship Lady M'Donald. from London to Bombay, 20 da3*s out. Nov. 15, ship Uoyal George, Liverpool to Bombay, 25 days out.
