London, Nov. 20. Wool sales opened at prices one half-penny better ; attendance good ; bidding animated; stock, 130,000 baleß. The wool brokers have decided to hold five annual sales. Alderman Lawrence, ex- Mayor, haß been knighted. Ten new Peers have been created. Victor Emanuel is recovering from a severe fever. A funeral service in honour of Peabody was celebrated in Westminster Abbey. A colliery explosion occurred at Wigan, at which 27 people were killed. The wreck of the Royal Standard, bound for Melbourne, was sold at Rio. The missing raft/jjwith survivora, has been recovered. Consols, 93-1.
