Mr H. E. Alport reports having sold a *nmll mob of pail fed steers, 10 months old nnd upwards, at £3 10s per head. At the Carlton yards, on Wednesday, a good supply of fat and sore cattle was offered, but the JJulk was withdrawn, prices being considered f too low. Six months to yearling steers and Jheifers brought full prices, and a few dairy "'cows wore placed at fair rates.
