(Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M., and Capt. F. D. Gibson.) Lunacy. — Elizabeth Penton "Rayner was brought before the Court on the above charge. Dr. Rouse certified that the prisoner was a fit and proper person to be placed under restraint. Dr Motley corroborated the above, and tbe Bench accordingly declared the prisoner insane, and she was forthwith removed to Sunnyside Asylum. Raiatara, a Maori, was also charged as above. The prisoner was too violent to appear. Drs Rouse and Motley having certified that he was insane, the Bench ordered that he Bhould be taken to the asylum.
