McMeckan, Blackwood, and Co's s.s. Tararua, Capt. Hagley, arrived in harbour this morning, at 9.30, from Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin. She left Hobadu's Bay at 3 p.m. ou Dec. 11, and passed .Swan Island at 4 p.m next day; experienced moderate S.E. winds for the first part, and strong winds from the same quarter during the latter part of her run across; passed the Colander at 5 p.m. on Dec. 16 ; stopped eugines off Bluff nt 11 pm., and waited till daylight on Dec. 17, when she entered the .harbour; discharged cargo and left at 4.30 p.m., arriving at Dunedin 6.30 a.m. on Dec.' L 8; left again at 5 p.m. on Dec. 21, arriving aa above. We are indebted to Mr Heaton, purser, for full files. The Tararua sails for Y)'eUiugton to-morrow.
