A tailor, who lived near a churchyard in a large town, used to count the * number of funerals by putting a stone into a pot, hung up in hia shop for that purpose. On bis ■leath taking place, his house was shut ; and, on inquiry, it was observed by a next-door neighbour that the tailor himself was gone to pot.
