the Ne,w Zealand Government, pub-* lished on Oct. 7, declares that thtf Imperial Government adheres to.tiie policy that the Queen's troops are not to be employed in hostilities between the colouists and the natives. The removal of the 18th Regiment from New Zealand is insisted upon, and the troops are ordered to embark without delay. A pamphlet on Now Zaalnnd, written by MrSe\yell,is dedicated to Mr Kdward Wilson. The writer conteuds that the present crisis was precipitated by the j Colonial Office, and that Imperial help is indispensable. . V :'. j ; .
