Wright, Esq., Fring,; ; his dam, a superior mare called Beauty, hred and hunted by the Bey. Minus, by Cannell'-s Old Lord of the Manor. Gr. sire, that celebrated horse Mr Powell's Black Shales, dam by Emilius. G. gr. sire, Chadd's Shales, bred by the late Captain Ogden, of Watlington, from his notee trotting mare. G. g. gr. sire, .Old Marshland Shales, the champion of ali trotters. SHALES is a rich bay, with black points, four years old, stands sixteen hands high, with great substance, splendid temper and constitution, and inherits the blood-like qualities of his ancestors, with first-rate trotting action. The colts got by tbe grand old liing horse are unequalled by .the stock of any other horse in the United Kingdom, in proof of which one dealer alone, in the County of Norfolk, purchased (for tiie London market) over one hundred of them, averaging £100 each. Terms— Five Guineas, and Five Shillings Groomage. Limited to Forty Mares. A Good Paddock provided for the reception of Mares. Every care taken, but no responsibility. Gras 2b 6d per week.
