HORTICULTURAL EXHIBITION.

The Horticultural Society added greatly to the attractions of Jthe cattle show by holding an exhibition of flowers, fruit, and vegetables. The season is not favourable to an exhibition of tbis sort, and the success attained yesterday was more financial than horticultural. Still, there was much to commend, and the Society will no doubt do better next year. We append the prize list: — Nurserymen and Gardeners' Class. pot PLANTS, Judges— J. H. Webb, T. Wilson. 6 Pelargoniums, 3 show, 5 faney — Ist (No. 31 exhibit), and 2nd (No. 5 exhibit) were disqualified, as not being according to schedule. 6 Geraniums, variegated — Ist prize, R. H.
