Wright, Esq., Fring; his dam, a superior mare called Beauty, bred and hunted by the Rev. Minus, by Cannell's Old Lord of the Manor. Gr. sire, that celebrated horse Mr Powell's Black Shales, dam by Emilius. G. gr. sire, Chadd's Shales, bred by the late Captain Ogden, of Watlington, from his noted trotting mare. -" . r G. g. gr. sire, Old Marshland Shalei, the champion of all trotters. SHALES is a rich bay, with black ifoints four years old, stands sixteen hands high with great substance, splendid temper and constitution, and inherits the blood-like qualities of his ancestors, with first-rate trotting action. The colts got by the grand old J&ring horse are unequalled by the stock of any other horse in the United Kingdom, in proof of which one dealer alone, in the County of Norfolk, purchased (for the London market) over one hundred of them, averaging £100 each. Terms — Five Guineas, and Five Shillings Groomage. Limited to Forty Mares. A Good Paddock provided for the reception of Mares. Every care taken, but no responsibility. Gra 82s 6d per week.
