Mails will close at the chief Post-office on Friday, Aug. 6, for the undermentioned places : — United Kingdom, via Suez and Marseilles, at 8.30 a.m. Continent of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, at 8 a.m. Australian colonies and Northern provinces of New Zealand, at 8.30 a.m. Newspapers at 7 a.m. Late letters for the United Kingdon, the Australian colonies, and Northern ports of New Zealand, can be posted until 9.25 a.m., by the addition of a sixpenny stamp. Money orders and registered letters at 5 p.m., on Thursday, the sth of August.
