CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. (Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., R.M., and his Worship the Mayor.) Drunkenness. — William Willson was brought up in custody, charged with having been drunk and disorderly in a public thoroughfare at half-past two this morning. He admitted the offence, but expressed regret at his conduct. It being his first appearance, the nominal penalty of 5s only was imposed. Affiliation. — Arthur Wellington Palmer was summoned by Agnes Augusta Clayton for having refused to support his illegitimate child. Defendant said he had made an arrangement with complainant for doing co, and the case was accordingly dismissed.
