Hokitika, June 15, 4.42 p.m. The Rangifoto arrived this morning with the English mails. The steamer could not be tendered, in consequence of a south-west gale blowing, and has left for Wellington. "Wellington, June 15, 7.47 p.m. Private letters from Sydney via Auckland, state that the manager of the A. S. N. Company is about to visit New Zealand, to make arrangements for a line of steamers calling at the principal ports. Also, that one of the Sydney banks is about to open branches in the principal towns here. Mr Fox is now speaking on his want of confidence motion, aud is making a very powerful attack.
