Five shots at '600 yards (any position.) Rifles to be of Government pattern, which includes long and short Enfield, Lancaster, Snider and Cavalry Carbine. ... , Pull of trigger not under 6 lbs. There will be one sighting shot at 600 yard 8. Squads not to number more than 10 men each.. . Targets will be painted out after every fifth Bhot, at. 200 yards, and after every tenth ehot at 600 yards.
