(Before Mr Justice Gresson.) His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at eleven o'clock. BE "WILLIAM M'COBMICK, DECEASED. Mr Hanmer applied for letters of administration to the Curator. Order made as prayed. BE JAMES ALEXANDER KING, DECEASED. On the application of Mr Jamie3on, an order for leave to issue probate was made. BE GEORGE CROSS, DECEASED. Mr Bamford applied for an order for leave to issue probate to William Dale, executor. His Honor made the order. BE WILLIAM HABBIS, DECEASED. Mr Jamieson applied for an order for leave to issue probate to George Bishop, executor. Order made. In Bankruptcy, be william thomas baugh. The debtor, in person, applied for an order of adjudication and meeting of creditors. His Honor made the order as prayed, fixing the meeting of creditors for Wednesday, the 31st March, at eleyen o'clock. BS NATHANIEL BELLABS. The debtor, in person, applied for an order fixing the date for last examination and discharge. His Honor said that more than sixty days had elapsed since the adjudication. Application must be made with the consent of the creditors who have proved for an order to annul the former order of adjudication, and a second order must then be moved for on a fresh petition. BE GEOBGE ALBEBT BXJNGE. The bankrupt, in person, applied for an order fixing date for last examination and discharge. His Honor made the order, fixing the last examination nominally for the Bth of April. BE PBED. MOHLIESEN ABNOLD. The bankrupt, in person, applied for an order fixing the date for last examination and discharge. His Honor made the order as prayed, fixing the last examination for the 6th of May. BE DAVID DAVIS. Mr Garrick asked for the removal of the petition from the file. There had been a meeting of creditors, at which they agreed to take a composition. The petition was ordered to be removed off the file. BE OEOBGE FIBHEB AND HENBY PISHEB. Mr Garrick on behalf of Mr Cottrell, applied for an order of adjudication and meeting of creditors. His Honor made the order, fixing the meeting of creditors for Wednesday, the 31st March, at one o'clock. be b. w. cooke. Mr Slater applied for an order for the discharge of the debtor, on the ground that the maintenance money had not been paid. An affidavit by the Gaoler to this effect having been produced, his Honor made the order as prayed. In Banco, bebwick v. the mayob, councillobs, and burgesses of the bobough of kaiapoi. Mr Travers moved for a rule nisi, calling on the plaintiff to shew cause why the verdict obtained on the trial should not be set aside and entered for the defendants, or why a rule should not be obtained for a new trial. After a long discussion, his Honor granted the rule, returnable on the 4th of May. The Court then rose.
