>V PRINCE ALFRED. TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAB. Sir, — Would you please insert this suggestion to the Reception Committee of H.R.H. Prince Alfred, to solicit all the butchers in Christchurch to attend a procession. You, doubtless, are aware of the very good effect their appearance had six years ago, when the marriage of the Prince of Wales was celebrated here, in their blue shirts, black caps, tights, and red sashes. Hoping that this suggestion may be acted upon, I am, Your obedient servant, LOYAL.
