We learti that according to latest advices .^e well-known steamship Albion is still trading on the Japan coast. She was to be fitted with six ten-pounder guns, and was expected to be sold to the Japanese. Captain Kidney was about to proceed to England, and Captain Dunn, an American, was to take the command. So many steamers trading on the coast of Japan have given an impetus to the coal trade. —Argus. Feb. 2.5. On Saturday, Feb. 20, the fine screw steamship Otago, lately the property of the Panama Company, was offered for sale by auction, at Lloyds rooms, by Mr James Lawrence. The biddings were not particularly animated: 'I hey ran the price up to .£12,500, but that sum wa3 not accepted, tbe reserve price being some £I'>oo higher. Not having been disposed of, the Otago is now Undergoing some necessary repairs, and is to be forthwith despatched for Japan, to the branch of the London house, by whom she was purchased from the English mortgagee before her last arrival in this port. — ..• rgus, Feb. 22. _.
