Referring to the price of music, it may be said that from the first the proprietor determined to make the fullest possible concession to the public; and therefore sometime since, without waiting for advices, the practice was introduced of allowing twenty-five per cent, off purchases amounting to more than twenty shillings. He now feels himself able to allow that discount without any restriction as to amount, and to make a further allowance of 10 per cent, when more than a pound's worth is bought at once. This fshipment will be followed by others in regular succession, so as to keep a large stock on hand to select from.
