Being his, flrsffi offence, a nominal penalty of Ps was inflictedfll — William Collins, lahourer, for the same of-|H fence, was fined 10s, there being several pre<H vious convictions against him. — GeorgaHß Harley was brought up in custody, charged^H with having been drunk and disorderly, in th^H theatre, on Saturday night, and with assaultH| ing Mr Howard at the entrance-door. FroirnM the evidence of Constable Wilson and theJH prosecutor, it appeared that the prisoner andH another man were using most disgusting lanßß guage in the pit of the theatre, and were re^H peatedly cautioned by the prosecutor to b«H quiet, or, they would be removed. Sbortlwi after, prisoner went out, and on being refuseSH re-admittance, struck the prosecutor, giyin^H him a black eye. Prisoner did not deny thM| offence, and his Worship, saying he was de^H termined to stop such conduct in places of_WM public amusement, inflicted a fine of 20s. MB
