and — Harper, Esqrs.) Lakcbnt. — Richard Lewis was charged with this offence. Joseph Snell, the sexton of the Cemetery, stated that this morning ( the prisoner, was walking round the cemetery. Suspecting from his manner thafc something was wrong, witness watched him,{, and A :.G' ;:
jtoppedhim as he was leaving the place. . _He found in his possession some plants which had been taken putf /of the pots, amongst others a fuchsia which had lately been planted 'by a lady oii' one df the graves. - His Worship : remarked that thia waS the' second occasion on whicli thfe prisoner had appeared before him on a 6hkrge bt lsrc^ny.- v ' By his present act, he had not only committed a' theft, but had outraged the feelings of those whose friend^' Were lying' in the cetnetery.
