The Star Office, This Dav. No land was sold at the Waste Lands [ Office to-day. I Messrs Wilson and Alport report con siderable firmness in the prices of good store j and fat cattle. On Wednesday, at the Carlton yards, they sold a small mob of fat steers and cows at full rates. On Saturday, at Cashel street yards, they had full yards of dairy stock. This description are, however, dull of sale, and only a portion brought owners' valuation.
