After the rising of the Court yesterday, permission had been obtained from Colonel Packe for prisoner to accompany the Timaru detachment of Volunteers to "Wellington, but on arriving in Lyttelton the steamer had sailed, and he had to be brought bade again. He now again requested that be might not be detained in custody, and after consideration, his Worship decided to liberate him on his own recognizances to appear when the next steamer sails for Wellington. civil cases. Dr. Christy v. T. Tobik. — Claim of £3 3s. Judgment for defendant, with ousts. John Hart v. A. McLauchlin.— £9 Bs. Judgment for full amount and coats. Wilson and Simpson v. A. IVfcLAucnLiN. £10 19s Bd. Judgment for full amount and costs.
