ENGLISH MAIL VIA PANAMA. Mails for the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, via Panama, and the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 8.30 a.m., and Lyttelton at 9.30 a.m., on Monday. December 7th. i Letters; for Mexico, South America, the Continent of Europe,, and other Foreign Countries, must be posted before 7 a.m., on Monday, December 7th. . Late letters fbr all the above places can be posted until 10 a.m., on Monday, December 7th, by the attachment of an extra sixpenny stamp. ; Newspapers for the above will close at 8 a.m., on Monday, December 7th.
