The Star Office, This Day. An ordinary monthly meeting of the Oiamber of Commerce was held in Wilson's ®_3_ings on Thursday. Mr H. P. M. -Aynsley presided, and there were also pre38_t. Messrs Gould, Hassal, Palmer, Inglis, 3___fcson, Hennah, Wilson, Coster, Turner, -SJacpherson, Walton, Anderson, and -3_aha_n, hon. sec. The minutes of last -fleeting were read and confirmed. The ©airman announced that Messrs A. C. ©sttrell, J. A. Bird, E. W. Morrah, and D. _sraig, had been nominated as members of fSss. Chamber.. A ballot was then taken and t&_ whole were declared to be unanimously 3___ted. The Chairman said that the coinBailee appointed lo consider the advisability as registering bills of sale had decided against sash a proceeding. Mr Walton asked what seasons they had given for doing so, but the S. feairman replied that none had been f ur-UKS-icd him, .md no other business being on sand, the meeting terminated.
