Company. Considermj^the unfavourable news fromTSngland, tliS*pnces Obtained were good, and therfe was a la\ge attendance. Daily Times of yesterday revppr'tsy- ■•"-:.* ;-'• Ai ■ '7i;-Business js .not at present without some of briskness, but what is doing is Jmbsjily in miscfellahebus parcels for town and country requirements; the export trade remaining light, and importers still experiencing a difficulty in making sales of any considerable extent. In breadstuffs we note sales for trade purposes at maintained rates, but nothing beyond. Liquids are still dull, and parcels quitted very small. Machin's stout, quarts, has been placed at lis, duty paid; and pints at an equivalent rate. Some few packages of bottled ales (second rate brands) moved, exhibited very low figures. Spirits are at the moment almost; -without attention. In general goods, we hear of moderate parcels of English make galvanised corrugated iron, at prices withheld. , English cheese, at lld; a pale sample of hops, at 2s ; ; Cape raisins, at sfd; American turpentine, at .4s, .duty paid; tartaric acid, at Is 9d; and Sinclair's hams and bacon, at 12£ d. In sugars, small sales at very full prices, are taking place; stocks forbidding any greater amount of business. L
