TvVin. barque Crishna, Captain Hughes, arrived iv harbour thia morning, from Syduoy, after a passage of 14 days ; left on the 22nd October; passed through the Straits on Sunday last; experienced fine weather during tho passage. Storm Bird, Capt Doile, arrived in harbour on Thursday night at 11.50 from Dnncdin. Left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the 4th inst, and arrived at Timaru at 8 a.m. off the sth ; left again at .0 a.m., and arrived as above. Experienced fine weather throughout the passage. We are obliged to the steward for files. The Stormbird sailed for Wellington at 3 p.m. this day. Tarn Glenmark, < apt Wrankmore, sailed from Gravesend for anterbury on Sept. 9. Tho following are reported as passengers : — Mr J. Dunn and family, Miss Gilbert, Messrs 3. D. D. Woolcott, A. Brebner, E. Saunders, and Dr Widdas. The P.N.Z. and A.R.M. Co *s s.s. Tararua, from Melbourne, via Bluff Harbour, with tha Suez Mails, arrived in port at 10.30, from Melbourne, via Dunedin, this morning. The Tararua sailed from the Saudridge Pier at 4.30 p.m. on the 28th. Communication was sfcorily afterwards received that the Suez mails were signalled off Cape Otway, aud the agents decided on detainiug the steamer in Hohsous Bay until their arrival. The mails and ".aasengers being transhipped at four a.m. on the 29th, the Tararua cleared Port Phillip Heads at six a.m. Fine weather with westerly winds were experienced dnring the passage. The Solander was sighted at 6 p.m. on tlie 2nd, and easy steam - brought her alongside tfae Bluff Wharf at daylight on the 3rd. Landed mails, passengers, and 50 tons of cargo, and after taking on board mails for England, via Panama, and 20 passengers, sailed at 5 p.m., and arrived at Dunedin at daylight, experiencing fine weather on the <L!oitst ; landed there a large mail, 50 passengere, and 130 tons of cargo, as also 24 horses, and 300 fat sheep for this port, all in good condition, and sailed again at 5 p.m. on the sfk, had fine weather the whole passage, arriving here as above. She brings 15 tons of cargo and 25 passengers. We are obliged to M* A. R. Adam, purser, for files.
