FTIHE attention of the public is directed tt> X Clauses 1 and 2 of tbe above-named Ordinance, for the PREVENTION of the SPREAD of DISEASE amongst CAITLE, and to Provide a Fund for Defraying the Expenses thereof. 1. Every owner of cattle shall, in the month of October in every ye;tr deliver, or cause to be delivered, to the Chief Inspector of Shetp, a written return of the number of cattle of each sex over six months old owned by him, or under his charge, on the 30th day of September preceding, specifying in such return to the best of his ability the biand or permanent marks upon such cattle. 2. Every person refusing or neglect hip to deliver, or cause to be delivertd, such return as aforesaid, or wilfully making a false return, shall bt liable to a penalty not exceeding Twenty Pounds, nor less than OnePound, for each offence.
