The Turakino bridge, hitherto a substantial erection, about 180 feet in leugth, has been officially reported as having been shaken by the late earthquake, and rendered unsafe for heavy traffic. The Government has also received information that the late telegram of the insecurity of the East Coast was founded upon the very exaggerated report of two settlers. The danger is nothing extraordinary.
