CATTLE I ATING ORDINANCE, 1868. rpHE attention of the public is directed to 1 Clauses 1 and 2 of the above-named Ordinance, for the PREVENTION of the -PUEAD of DISEASE amongst CATTLE, md to Provi 'c a Fund for Defraying the Expenses thereof. 1. Every owner of cattle shall, in the month of October in every year deliver, or c.iuse to be delivered, to the Chief Inspector of Slice p, a written return of the number of cattle of e«ch ccx over six months old owned by him, «r under his charge, on the 33th day of Septen.btr preceding, spiriting in such return to the best of his ability the brand or permanent marks upon such cattle. 2. Every person refusing or neglectiug to <!eliver, or cause to be delivered, such return as aforesaid, or wilfully making a ftlse return, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding Twenty rounds, nor less thau One Pound, for each offence.
