On Saturday morning the wind set in from S.E. ; at 10 a.m. passed Lyttelton heads, making the passage in fifteen days. The Jeanie Duncan brings a cargo of cotton, lemons, coffee, also some returned passengers. We are obliged to Captain Griffith for files of the Fijian Weeklij Neirs. VThe Hydaspes left Gravesend for Canterbury on July 25, and took a large party of saloon passengers, comprising the Rev. Mr and Mrs Thomson Rev. Mr Pember and family, CqCptain Lewis, Dr Jameson and Miss Jameson,. Mr and Mrs Peez, Mrs Cornwall and family, MissMcSweeney, Messrs Collins, Jones, Darley, Thomason, Portal, Wilemans, Cartwright, Nathan, Rose, Deans, Fulton, Whitty, and Hood. She had also a full complement of second-cabin and steerage passengers.
