The barque Indus, Captnin Hodge, arrived k£ harbour yesterday afternoon, from Neweg^fcle, via Dunediu ; left Newcastle on the si-th ultimo, and passed Dunedin Ileads ou Jffuiday last. She brings a cargo of coals, Bss., consigned io Messrs Pavitt and Co. ; Mqs.jr.-; Ilcywood and Co. arc her agents. The p.s. Couieraug sailed for Dunedin via intermediate ports, this day, at noon. Trig barque Pet left Newcastle on the M 3 inst., for Lytttltou Thu barque Crishna, Capt. Hughes, arrived ia'kitrhour this morning, from Newcastle ; left that port on the 29th August ; ex[Htriencod S. E. and E. winds all way down to Cape Farewell ; from thereto Cape Campfctll had N. "W. winds ; since then had southerly and sou' west winds ; passed through the traits on Sunday last, *fiie brig Princess Alice yesterday, bound for Hig port, from 3;duey, 16 days out. The CHsltna brings a cargo of coals, consigned ft* Mr C. W. turner.
