TO THE BDITOB. OF THB STAB. Sir, — Now the, new members for the Borough of Christchyrch are elected, I trust they will do all in their power to assist in gaining the half-hoilday, which has been so prominently before the public of late. By doing so they will confer a great benefit upon a larga portion of their fellow citizens, particularly those who havw to work long hours.
