CHRISTCHURCH. This Dat. Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., R.M. Drunkenness. — John Delaney pleaded guilty to having been drunk and incapable last night, and was fined 5s. — Henry Nichol, on bail, appeared ia answer to a similar charge. Inspector Pender said defendant had
fallen into the river whilst intoxicated, and the offence being admitted, a nominal fine of 5s was inflicted in consequence of it being his first appearance.
