IN RE GENET. TO THE EDITOU OF THE STAR. Sir, — In the case of Crown v. B. Genet, senr., I am reported to have said in my evidence as to the character of the accußed, words quite at variance with what I did «tate. I have no desire to say anything now that may tend to be prejudicial to the character of the accused party ; but in justice to myself, I feel bound to take exception to a report so contradictory to the evidence given by me on oath.
