H, Hargreaves, Captain Commandant of the Artillery, stating in reply to tho Council's letter, that neither tho Provincial nor General Government had made any provision for removing the guns, and if they were ordered from the sh ed, it would seriously injure the corps, and perhaps cause the guns to bo removed from tho province. Ho expressed a hopo that tho Council would allow them to remain. From P.
