Tiiih Dav, (Hcforo Dr Donald, R.M. j Reftjsa*- ov Doty,— Jacob Gibson, Charles Wnscov, nnd William Thomas, seamen, on board the ship Ga nsborough, woro charged with this offence. Captain Charlton, Master, stated that tha men refused to turn to, stating thoy would not go to India, Jn reply to tho Bench, Gibson said the Dr told him his constitution would not stand the ell mute of Calcutta ■ Wnscov mild ho did not like the ship ■ Thomas said lie did not want to ho away no long— tho meat had boon scarco *at times— ho had complained to tho steward, Tho Captain said ho had never heard of nny complaints since bo bad been in harbour, nor fllneo ho hnd left tho channel. The accused woro sentenced to threo weoks' imprisonment with hard labour,
