REFEREES’ APPOINTMENTS
At a: recent meeting of the Te Puke Referees’ Association, the list of referees appointed to control the matches in the first round of the Te HurunuiApanui and Shalfoon Shield competitions were received from the Bay of Plenty Referees’ Association. Although none of the local referees were appointed to control Shield matches this Saturday, Messrs C. Donovan and N. Valder have been allotted Shalfoon Shield games in Tauranga and Opotiki respectively, on Saturday, July 9. •,
