DECREASE IN PRIMARY; INCREASE IN SECONDARY DEPARTMENT

According to the report of the headmaster (Mr F. Copk) whiah was submitted at the monthly meeting of the Te Puke District High School Committee the other evening, the enrolments at the school have reached 530 so far this year.

When the school closed at the end of last year the attendance was also 530. The strength of the respective rolls of the primary and secondary departments were 412 and 118, and this year they are 393 and 137. The increase of 19 in the secondary department is offset by a decrease of 19 in the primary department. 1
