«M«t SPLENDID YOUNG SWIMMERS SEVENTEEN CUPS PRESENTED There was not a great crowd at the Te Puke Memorial Ruths on Saturday afternoon when the To Ruke Civil) Cup Carnival was hold but keen contests were the ordei throughout the day. The younger swimmers are showing great promise and it is very pleasing to note that there are several of very even calibre who tight out the various distances. An effort must he made to increase the distances, however. The results follow :
