TE PI KE A TEAMS CLOSE CONTEST B TEAM FARES BADLY Te Puke A and B teams travelled to Rotorua on Sunday and enjoyed a most pleasant day s outing. The A team had a very close contest being 5 'matches all, 1G sot sail. A count up of games gave Rotorua a win by the narrow margin of 128 games to Te Puke's 12G. This match was for tin* Dunlop Shield : Ladies Singles : Mis J. Tanner beat Miss M. Knight, s—(i; G—4, 7—5; Mrs K. Chappie lost Mrs M. Jackson, G—2, 6—4.
