W.D.F.F.

te puke division .meets Mrs Gilmore presided at the monthly meeting of the Te Puke W.D.F.F. held on February 18th. There was a very good attendance of members, and apologies were received from Mesdames Dennett, Carter, .Tones. Diprose, Davidson, Nome, Weroliia and Bird; Three new members, -proposed by Mrs Gilmore and seconded by Mrs Hutchinson, are Mesdames Hurst, 0"V and Maunder. During the business a letter was read from the Sunshine home for little children. It was decided to send food parcels to Britain and collection of £1 8s was made for that purpose. The Roll-was a “Child’s School Lunch.” Competitions were won as follows : Best Bloom : Mrs Barrow 1 and 2. Knitting: Mrs 1, Mrs Spooner 2. The hostesses were Mesdames Spooner and Nicholls.
