CAPITOL THEATRE

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME In the first presentation the adventures of a typical American family, with much of its comedy and no little of its drama, are packed in “Yon’re Only Young Once.” With the able Lewis Stone in the featured role, supported by. an excellent cast which includes Cecilia Parker, Mickey Rooney, and Fay Hilden, the story is fast-mov-ing, mirthful and extremely well presented. The narrative, describes an American family group of five on their first vacation for 11 years. The complications which ensue when daughter and son become involved in romantic adventures disturbs the even tenor of family life. It’s Lewis Stone, as the father, to the rescue. He saves . the children from dangerous situations by an acute understanding and handling of their problems. The supporting cast includes Frank Craven, Ann Rutherford, Eleanor Lynn, Ted Pearson, Sara Haden, Charles Judels and Selmer Jackson. In the second screening, “Land of Fighting Men,” featuring the Colorado Hillbillies, should give good entertainment. The Colorado Hillbillies are one of the finest musical aggregations to set foot in Hollywood. There are about forty members in this band, and they travel from town to town in their own trucks and trailers, carrying a chef, and all the comforts of home. “Land of Fighting Men” is the thrilling story of racketeers of the West, and of the selfappointed vigilantes who destroyed their grip on the wide open spaces.
