TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY

If a gdaxy of stars can make a picturQfthen “Powdersmoke Range,” at the Capitol tonight and tomorrow should he one of the best Westerns shown for a long time. No ' fewer than eleven stars headed by Harry Carey and Hoot Gibson fill the major roles in a production that is said to be much superior to the usual Western. A saga of the open spaces it is not the average picture that one would expect to see, and although it is packed with thrills, there is a story behind the scenes that will hold the attention of the audience until the final fade-out. The supports—“ Major Dowes” (Amateur Alights), “Land of the Eagle” (Interest) and Universal News—combine to mke a first-class evening’s entertainment.
