[Outlook for Industry Palmerston North, June 14 At the annual conference of the New Zealand Rabbit Breeders’ Association, the president, Mr E. E. Rogers, of Havelock North, Baid Angora wool was growing in popularity and the price had been fairly steady. The outlook regarding fur breeds, he considered, was not as bright. He warned members against extensive breeds ing of pelting rabbits. The number engaged in the breeding for the industry, the president said, was now nearly 1000.
The following officers were elected : Patron, the Hon. R. Masters ; president, Mr Rogers ; vice-president, Dr F, Dry ; secretary and treasurer, Mr Y. B. Benton, Featherston. '
