Tumu-Kaituna Drainage Board
A meeting of the Tumu Kaituna Drainage Board was held on Saturday last, there being pre- r sent Messrs M. W. Griffin man), E. H. ilintz, E. J. Ford, M. Cruickshank, and W. Williams. On the motion of the Chairman it was decided that the matter of Tail’s floodgate be left in Mr Ford’s bands with authority to procure the necessary tools. It was decided that publio noti.ee be given of the Board’s intention to make and levy for tbe year commencing April Ist, 1932, and ending on March 31st, 1933, and also its intention to oollect the annually recurring special rates due.
Mr R. L. luces, Land Drainage Engineer, in a letter dated April 28th, wrote giving the approximate cost of installing calco doore and culverting, , Correspondence was. received from the Ccempldynfant Board re payment of moneys due to the Board, and re work on private properties, w A number of accounts were passed for payment and the raeefl£ ing closed.
