IMPERIAL BUTTER.
NOT TO BE SOLD LOCALLY, \ b r ' Christchurch, June 11. The Hon D. Nosworthy in* formed Mr McCombs, M. P.,today that the Government had Communicated with the Imperial authorities re the purchase of of butter for consumption in New Zealand, and had received a definite reply that it was not proposed to sell butter from the Imperial stock at a loss for local eomsumption.
